Changing the Way We Face a Challenge

We used Google Drawings to show how a fixed mindset phrase can be changed into a growth mindset phrase to help us achieve our goals. Here are a few examples of what we came up with. Maybe try one next time you feel stuck in the Learning Pit.

Circuit Making

On Friday, we challenged ourselves to make circuits using a range of different electrical equipment. The catch was that we got no help from Mrs Fastnedge and had to problem solve as a team through each challenge. Along the way, we had to remind ourselves to have a growth mindset and not give up. In the end, we managed to light a lightbulb or two, use a switch, control a buzzer and some of us even managed to create a circuit to operate a motor and propeller.
